Sound Healing Tulsa

A sound or gong bath is like an “energetic deep tissue massage” that balances and replenishes you.

What Is Sound Healing?

Sound healing uses vibration and frequency to bring the body and mind into a more balanced and relaxed state. During a session, instruments such as gongs create waves of sound that move through the body, helping to calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation.

Many people describe the experience as feeling like an energetic deep tissue massage created by sound.

What Is a Gong Bath?

A gong bath is a deeply immersive sound meditation. You simply lie down comfortably while waves of sound and vibration wash over you.
There is nothing you need to do — just relax and receive.

Our sessions use two 40-inch gongs to create a powerful sound field that you can feel throughout your entire body.

Sessions typically last 60–75 minutes.

FAQs

A sound or gong bath is like an “energetic deep tissue massage” that uses vibrations from gongs to promote deep relaxation and healing. It helps balance your body, mind, and spirit by easing muscle tension, improving circulation, and clearing energetic blockages such as chakras.

Sound healing  helps calm the mind by releasing tension and emotional blockages. It fosters a relaxed state that can lead to blissful experiences, reducing stress and promoting a peaceful mental state.

Joss, a registered Yoga Teacher with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience, leads the sessions. Joss brings a unique perspective shaped by a long yoga journey that balances strength and mindfulness.

Most sound healing sessions range from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs and the structure of the experience. This duration allows your mind and body enough time to settle into deep relaxation, experience the shifting vibrations, and gradually return to full awareness without feeling rushed. The entire session is designed to help your system release tension and restore balance.

No experience is needed. Sound healing is accessible for everyone, including complete beginners. You simply lie down or sit comfortably while the soothing vibrations from the gongs do the work. Whether you practice yoga regularly or have never taken a wellness class before, you can fully benefit from the session.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully. Most participants prefer to bring a yoga mat, blanket, or pillow to enhance comfort during the session. A water bottle is also helpful, as hydration supports energetic release and grounding after the experience.

Sound healing is generally safe, but individuals with certain conditions—such as epilepsy, severe sound sensitivity, or specific medical implants—should consult a healthcare provider beforehand. If you have concerns, simply let your instructor know so adjustments can be made for a safe and supportive experience.
